Red Wine by Casa Lapostolle from Chile, South America. Color: Deep red ruby with purple hints. Nose: Elegant, rich and complex. A rare balance with the unique mix of red fruit from St Emilion, violets of the Grands Vins of Pomerol and Rhone and notes of cassis and black fruits from Burgundy play together with perfect harmony. The oak adds complexity with nutmeg, vanilla and sweet spices notes. Mouth: Soft and concentrated, with a beautiful freshness that gives balance and dimension to this unique composition of flavours followed by a long and elegant finish. Red Wine by Felipe Rutini from Argentina, South America. Made only in exceptional vintage years, the grapes for Apartado, meaning that which is set apart, go through a rigorous selection of the Rutini's best vineyards sites. The Cabernet is sourced from the Agrelo district, Malbec from La Consulta, Merlot from Tupungato and Syrah from Lujan de Cayo. The result from blending grapes from different microclimates and terroirs within Mendoza's high-altitude wine-growing region produces complex, rich and elegant wines. Aging takes place for 21 months in new French oak. 100% malolactic fermentation. A blend of 30% Merlot, 30% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah, this well-structured wine has a complex nose of red fruits, plums and cherries. Notes of tobacco and chocolate show through as well. On the palate there are fruit flavors of blackberries, blue berries and cherries along with hints of spice. Soft sweet tannins are present on the lingering silky finish.

Vina Maquis Lien is a blend of Syrah, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec grapes, resulting in a disinctive wine that reflects the special plot of land the Hurtado Vicuna family owns in the Colchagua Valley in Chile. The vineyards and winery are located at the confluence of two historic rivers, the Chimbarongo and the Tinguiririca, which brought down from the Andes sediments that established teh vineyard's alluvial soils, and channel cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean, contributing to the richness and fruitiness of the wines. Ricardo Rivadeneira Hurtado and his team pride themselves in creating such a generous red wine full of character and a sense of place. Blend: 50% Syrah, 23% Carmenere, 12% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Malbec In Chile's native Mapuche language, lien means silver metal-a reference to colonial Spanish coins that were once melted to make fine jewelry, like the lizard on the Maquis label.

Red Wine by 2 Brothers from Chile, South America. This wine comes from two brothers, Alex, a wine importer, and Erik, a tattoo artist, who wanted to pay homage, in a non-serious way, to their late mother who suffered from cancer. They decided to label and bottle their own wine and donate the proceeds to a good cause. With their combined talents and effort, they created Big Tattoo Red. For every bottle sold, 50 cents is being donated to the Arlington, Virginia Hospice and a breast cancer research foundation in the name of Liliana S. Bartholomaus. Introduced in the Winter of 2002, sales from Big Tattoo Wines has raised over $850,000 for charity. Varietal composition: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Syrah This blend packs a powerhouse of fruit. Aromas of ripe berry fruit and plums set the stage for an explosion of fruit in the mouth with flavors of blackberries, black cherries, and cocoa that all come together on the rich and lingering finish.

Red Wine by La Playa from Chile, South America. The Tinguiririca River (Indian for Loud River) flows from high in the Andes mountains across Chile to the Pacific Ocean. In the spring, when the snow-capped peaks begin to melt, the placid stream becomes a raging torrent. Loud River Roaring Red is a full-bodied powerful blend of peppery Petit Verdot, spicy-fruity Carmenere and rich Cabernet Sauvignon. It shows expressive fruitiness in the nose, bursting with rich, ripe plums and blackberries sparked with spices. In the mouth, it is well balanced, showcasing the freshness of the fruit alongside forceful tannins for a tasty, round and long finish. Red Wine by 2 Brothers from Chile, South America. Two Brothers Winery, a partnership between brothers Erik and Alex Bartholomaus, released their debut wine, Big Tattoo Red 2001, in autumn of 2002 as a way to raise funds for cancer research and Hospice care in memory of their mother, Liliana S. Bartholomaus. Alex Bartholomaus, President and C.E.O. of Billington Imports in Springfield, Va., blended Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Syrah (40%) and Merlot (10%) to create this unique product. Alex then teamed up with his brother Erik, an established world-traveling tattoo artist, to design a fun label that would remind the two of their mother. Erik designed the label and they named their creation Big Tattoo Red. Fifty cents from every bottle sold is donated to the Hospice of Arlington, Va., and other breast cancer research foundations in the name of Liliana S. Bartholomaus. The two sold 13,835 cases of the 2001 debut vintage and raised $83,010 to donate to Cancer research and support. The 2002 vintage was released in June, and the brothers are on track to sell an additional 40,000 cases and donate another $240,000 by the end of next May. It was the Bartholomaus brothers' goal to honor their mother, who lost her battle against cancer three years ago. They wanted to do this in a non-serious yet beneficial way. This fun wine boasts a label with a Fleur de Lys, Liliana's favorite symbol, and its red and black label stands out on any retailer's shelf. This Chilean red is a ripe, easy-drinking wine with smooth flavors that compliment many foods, or can be enjoyed alone. The first release was a big success, but the popularity of this wine soared during 2003, popping up on wine shop shelves and restaurant wine lists nation wide.
