Red Wine by Seven Hills from Columbia Valley, Washington. Sourced exclusively from Klipsun Vineyard in the highly-regarded Red Mountain AVA. As with all Seven Hills' wines, grapes were hand-picked; harvest weather was very warm and yields were near average. Blended with 14% Merlot to lend softness. Bottled in July 2006, after cellaring in French barrels. Will benefit from medium to long-term aging, gaining additional integration and flavor development over three to six years. From one of America's outstanding vineyards, this wine will be enjoyable for many years to come. This is a full-bodied Cabernet offering aromas of ripe blackberry, piquant spices, briar and hints of cherry liqueur. By mouth, there is abundant bright red and black fruits, fig and graham over moderate tannins, trailing into a warm, persistent finish. A ripe vintage of moderate acidity, complex flavors and a very ageable structure.

Red Wine by Walla Walla Vintners from Columbia Valley, Washington. Walla Walla Vintners is known for our complex and compelling Cabernet Sauvignon. The core of this age-worthy wine contains 80% Cabernet Sauvignon from Cold Creek, Goose Ridge, Dwelley Jones, and Sagemoor Vineyards. We added 10% Merlot from Killian and Sagemoor Vineyards, 7% Cabernet Franc from Cold Creek Vineyard to extend the mouth-feel and a 3% dollop of Malbec to enrich the spicy chocolate finish. It has a chokecherry nose with a mid-palate of caramel and a hint of light brown sugar and a stunning ending of Herbs de Provence with lavender and dark chocolate.

Red Wine by Januik Winery from Columbia Valley, Washington. Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot The 2004 Columbia Valley growing season produced another stellar vintage resulting in wines with generous, fresh fruit character and well balanced natural acidity. The ripe, balanced wines that mark the vintage are due in large measure to ideal weather conditions throughout a long growing season that started early and stretched late into fall which added hang time to enhance flavor development. This dark, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon is packed with cassis, blackberry liqueur, dark cocoa and warm vanilla notes in the nose. It lingers across the palate, imparting a long, polished finish that was developed in part from aging in new French oak barrels.

Red Wine by Ch. Ste. Michelle from Columbia Valley, Washington. 2004 marks Bob Bertheau's first red wine harvest for Chateau Ste. Michelle, where he managed the red winemaking from start to finish for the first time. His goal is to produce a softer mouthfeel and enhanced complexity in the red wines, while highlighting the power and concentration of Cold Creek fruit. Cabernet from this 30-year-old vineyard always delivers power, structure and rich concentrated black fruit. I have tried to harness this power into something a little friendlier in the first few years of release, while not taking away from its inherent ability to age...literally wanting my cake and eating it too! Concentrated aromas of pomegranates, blueberries, cocoa and molasses lead to a rich mid-palate with loads of dark chocolate on the finish. This is a classic Cold Creek Vineyard and classic Washington Cabernet. Try prime rib or even lamb with this Cab. Red Wine by Ch. Ste. Michelle from Columbia Valley, Washington. Blend: 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Malbec, 2% Merlot 2004 marked Bob Bertheau's first red wine harvest for Chateau Ste. Michelle, where he managed the red winemaking from start to finish for the first time. His goal was to produce a softer mouthfeel and enhanced complexity for the red wines, while highlighting the elegance of Canoe Ridge Estate fruit. The 2004 Canoe Ridge Estate Cabernet delivers black cherry fruit, spicy oak, leather and sweet caramel characters. Its soft, elegant, slightly dusty finish is typical of Canoe Ridge Estate. This wine shows the more subtle side of Washington Cabernet. It doesn't hit you over the head, but rather gently entices you with seductive fruit and spice layers. Try this with penne pasta marinara or veal scaloppini. Those slightly dusty Tuscan tannins are a great match with Italian foods.

Red Wine by Ch. Ste. Michelle from Columbia Valley, Washington. It is a structured, focused, well-integrated wine with forward aromas of wild raspberry, licorice, spice and vanilla complemented by lingering flavors of raspberry and ripe cherry.

Red Wine by Seven Hills from Columbia Valley, Washington. Blend: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot A medium-bodied red of deep color. By nose and mouth, it shows black and red fruits, sweet spices, vanillin and red plum overtones. The diverse vineyard sites show in a pleasing range of flavors and accessible structure. Polished gentle tannins and a slight brightness make this an inviting mealtime choice.

Red Wine by Canoe Ridge from Columbia Valley, Washington. This Cabernet is intense in color and tone, with spicy aromas of licorice root and cinnamon, hints of plum jam and an elegant touch of minerality. In the mouth it is very round and chewy, with a powerful yet elegant structure, suggesting a great potential for aging. This young wine is enjoyable now with rich, savory fare.

Red Wine by Gordon Brothers from Columbia Valley, Washington. The nose is greeted with warm aromas of cedar, seductive spices and chocolate, along with dark fruit. This full-bodied, rich wine has a velvety mouth-feel with flavors of black currant, anise and cherry. The wine is very well balanced with respect to both acids and tannins. Enjoy the lingering finish. Pair this wine with grilled red meats, sausages and strong cheeses. For a sensory delight, try it with a dark chocolate truffle or molten lava cake.

Dark cherry, currant and baking spice aromas and flavors coat the mid-palate, gaining intensity across a generous finish.

Red Wine by Ch. Ste. Michelle from Columbia Valley, Washington. The Indian Wells Cabernet is our warm climate ripe, jammy Cabernet. The 2005 bottling is no exception. The wine exudes sweet blackberry pie and vanilla aromas and flavors with loads of complexity. This is our big bold, obvious Cabernet and after just two vintages, it has quickly become a fan favorite. Wonderful Cab from such esteemed growers as Indian Wells, Jones, Washington Fruit and even Cold Creek Vineyard are woven together with a little Syrah to make a wine that says boldly 'I'm from Washington. Red Wine by Sagelands from Columbia Valley, Washington. In making the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, Sagelands handled the grapes gently throughout crushing, maceration and pressing. They blended Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from diverse origins to take advantage of each vineyard's unique character. Integrating a small amount of traditional Bordeaux varietals like Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot allows Sagelands to create a complex and versatile mosaic. The Merlot softens the palate, the Malbec adds fruit and color and the Petit Verdot brings a touch of blueberry and fine tannins. The wine is very approachable now and will continue to gain complexity over the next few years. This elegant Cabernet Sauvignon reveals an attractive ruby color and intense nose of blackberry, blueberry, Bing cherry and toasty oak and vanilla notes hinting of wild violet. Enjoy this delightful wine paired with beef Teriyaki, grilled chicken breast with Jamaican jerk seasoning or pork tenderloin with orange-chipotle sauce.
