Ros? by Lucien Albrecht from Alsace, France - regions. The grapes are hand picked. The whole cluster grapes are directly pressed in a pneumatic press with a long and soft pressing, hence the coral/ light pink salmon color. Cremant Rose is made by the Champagne Methode. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle. Afterwards it stays on its lees for 9 months follow by the remuage and disgorging. Grape Varieties: 100% Pinot Noir Finished Alcohol: 12%

Vintage by Dom. Ste. Michelle from Columbia Valley, Washington. Luxe is a very delicate Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine crafted in the time-honored methode champenoise tradition. As in Champagne, only free run juice is used which results in extremely delicate flavors. For the 1999 vintage, juice was feremted in French oak after inoculation and aged for 12 months to build layers of flavor and creaminess. The second fermentation in the bottle lasted 20 weeks and then the wine was aged for 3.5 years for added complexity. Even in the glass this sparkling wine will tempt you - a beautiful very pale yellow sparkler with loads of tiny bubbles promises good things to come. Enticing aromas of grapefruit, lemon and pear fill the nose. On the palate tropical pineapple notes are complimented with subtle hints of ginger and a creamy soft mouthfeel. Non-Vintage by Domaine Chandon from California. This wine offers the balance and elegance that has become Chandon's hallmark style. When you taste Brut Classic, look for nutty flavors with hints of brioche that build to a refreshing dry finish. The wine delivers complex apple and pear characteristics accented by citrus spice over notes of almond and caramel in the bouquet.

Non-Vintage by Domaine Chandon from Carneros, California. This Carneros-designated Blanc de Noirs has a delicate copper color and fruit aromas of strawberry and cherry overlaid with warm cocoa from Pinot Noir. Its softer cousin Pinot Meunier contributes a warm spice, almost clove character with overtones of orange peel and freshly baked bread. To enhance this Cuvee 391, wines from the 1991 vintage were blended with selected 'vin de reserve' held back from previous years. 1991 was characterized by cool conditions during maturation and harvest, critical to flavor development for sparkling wine. Three years of aging lends this wine breadth and body, while retaining its freshness and fruitiness. The balance is stylishly crisp, reflecting the Carneros region's full ripe flavors. Light gold hue. Forward apple and ginger scents show a defined earthiness. Creamy flavors of orange, butternut, pecan and vanilla. Long close is round and smooth. -Wine News

Non-Vintage by Mumm Napa from Napa Valley, California. This hugely popular, award winning wine offers touches of vanilla and melon, with firm acid and crisp structure. Medium bodied, with excellent mousse and a rich lingering finish, it is equally at home with a plate of iced oysters, fried calamari, chicken or a favorite pasta with a mild sauce. Mature aromas of char, yeast and flint with fruit notes in the background. Beautifully aged flavors of baked apple and flint are seamlessly integrated and deftly delivered. Non-Vintage by Segura Viudas from Spain. Like a rich Chardonnay with bubbles, this limited production Cava rests on an authentic pewter base and comes in a handsome hand-blown bottle emblazoned with a metal crest of the Segura Viudas family.

Vintage by Francis Coppola from Napa Valley, California. The 2003 Sofia Blanc de Blancs flaunts aromas of fresh summer peaches, tropical fruit, and juicy pineapple. Hints of pear, melon and creamy lemon unfold on the palate with honeysuckle emerging on the crisp, vibrant finish.

Lucien Albrecht, Jean's father, pioneered Cremant production in 1971 and helped gain an Appellation Control?e for the wine and for Alsace. The wines vinified by the classic Champagne Method from 100% free run juice, are the best sparkling wines in France outside of Champagne itself. Recently Maison Lucien Albrecht was awarded four gold medals at a comprehensive National I.N.A.O. tasting of all sparkling wines in France, giving the firm more gold medals than any other Cremant producer in France. This Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Pinot Blanc. The Blanc de Blancs is distinguished by a fine and elegant bead, a beautiful straw color; a light, delicate palate. It is delicious at any time of the day and with many foods. Non-Vintage by Scharffenberger from North Coast, California. Scharffenberger Brut is made by the traditional methode champenoise process - whereby the wines are individually bottle-fermented before being riddled and disgorged. The wine is approximately two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay and undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation. Scharffenberger Brut is made from its own 120-acre vineyards in the Anderson Valley. In addition, Scharffenberger Cellars has long-term contracts with select vineyards in the greater Mendocino County. This type of vineyard selection allows us to choose from the best vineyards in the area which enables us to produce our trademark cuvee. The wine is two-thirds Pinot Noir which produces a red fruit (cherry and plum) forward nose combined with one-third Chardonnay which adds the tropical expression of litchi nut and mango. The 100% malolactic fermentation adds a vanilla cream character producing a round and full-bodied wine. After approximately two years on the yeast lees, there are notes of freshly baked bread and pastry that enhances the more fruit forward style of the wine. Finally, after several months on the cork the wine develops caramel and hazel complexors. Fresh aromas of butterscotch and croissant with yeasty, bakery notes. Bright peach and apricot flavors with a green apple tartness. Fresh, steely close with a mix of lemon drop and minerals. -Wine News

Vintage by Francis Coppola from California. Sofia Blanc de Blancs, a unique blend of Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat, is a delicate sparkling wine perfect for any celebration. It offers sophisticated flavors, seductive aromas, and light effervescence - all packaged with striking, feminine flair. The fruit for Francis Coppola Sofia Blanc de Blancs is grown in the cool vineyards of the Arroyo Seco in northern Monterey County. Known for its Burgundian-like climate, Monterey offers ideal conditions for Pinot Blanc, which include a long growing season and soils that accentuate the alluring floral characteristics inherent in this varietal. We blend Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our own estate vineyards with grapes grown in some of the best independently owned vineyards in the area. The result is a vintage cuvee based on just two varieties, from one region, yet often using a dozen or more vineyards, each of which brings its unique character to the blend.

Non-Vintage by Taltarni from Australia. Tache is a French word meaning 'stained', referring to the pale salmon colour of this enticing sparkling wine. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes are estate grown at Taltarni and Clover Hill, Tasmania. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are picked by hand and Chardonnay at night to retain freshness and acidity. Specially selected Pinot Noir or Malbec is added to 'tache' the wine after disgorgement, resulting in a zesty sparkling wine of rosy hue and a refined freshness. Disgorgement is after a minimum of 18 months on lees in its original bottle.

Non-Vintage by Gruet from New Mexico, US. The subtle fruity aromas and the freshness of the Demi-Sec drives the character of this light bodied, semi-dry sparkling wine. The palate carries through with a creamy sensation and vivid flavor of green apples, ripe pears, pineapple and a hint of mineral. It is delicate, lively and elegant! Ros? by Bouvet from French, France - regions. Bouvet Rose Brut exhibits a brilliant, delicate salmon-pink color punctuated by fine, pinpoint bubbles which suggest the wines fresh, raspberry and cassis fragrance. On the palate it is very dry and crisp, with plump, succulent red fruit flavors offset by subtle earthy notes and a lovely generosity on the clean, persistent finish.

Non-Vintage by Lindauer from New Zealand. Light gold in colour, this wine displays attractive fresh fruit flavours with yeast characters and aromas. A dry, versatile sparkling wine, Lindauer is produced in the traditional way, using predominantly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines which are assembled into a cuvee. This cuvee then spends 12 to 18 months undergoing secondary fermentation and maturation.

Non-Vintage by Wolf Blass from Australia. This wine is light to medium straw in color with a hint of green. Complex aromas of fresh fruit and creamy yeast are perfectly balanced on the nose. On the fine palate, green apple chardonnay flavours and strawberry Pinot Noir characters are complemented with a crisp lively acidity. An outstanding sparkling for the price. Non-Vintage by Freixenet from Spain. Aged in the bottle for approximately three years, the Cordon Negro Extra Dry is less austere than the Brut. Delicate and clean, it features a mellow, balanced flavor. Excellent as an aperitif.
